Issue started when I tried to connect them to each other.ġ - I applied the 'config_camera.json' and set the textbox underneath to 'Windowed'. I installed Git, Python and ran the Project Xs commands and the program opened successfully! I opened OBS and setup my off-brand capture card and it worked! I had the game on the screen in a projector window and Project Xs open. I found a video by Yoggerzz which seemed to be completely idiot proof. I followed the links in his description and downloaded the programs, I tried to set it up but I was defeated and so looked for another YouTube video that could shine some clarity.

But I shall not waste your time with a life story. After watching a YouTube video by some dude called Jefe, he made it look incredibly fun to essentially break the game. I'm new to RNG manipulating, I've played Pokémon for just under 2 decades and never realised this was a thing. So I guess my question is it is possible at all to RNG in this route? Or are there some settings I haven't set correctly? (eg, I'm not sure at all what the 'ratio' box is about) Any help would be appreciated! I've tried testing turning randomly and seeing which encounter I hit when an encounter does occur, but it isn't consistent at all, I've hit anywhere between 3-25 indexes of the one I was currently on. When I hold A and turn, I cannot trigger the encounter that is supposed to occur at that index, as the tinyMT will advance anywhere between 2-5 frames every step. I've been getting consistent advancements of 28 rather than 27 when exiting the bag I've moved to a different spot than the one shown in the imgur album (moved to right in the bottom left of this image), because the advancements seemed a lot more stable there I've been following bambo rambo's wild rng guide, and I've successfully RNG'd shinies in other routes using it, but the tinyMT advancements in route 14 (no rain) seem incredibly inconsistent.

I've been trying to rng a wild shiny goomy, and can't seem to trigger the encounter an encounter when tinyfinder says I should.
