While it can be easily passed off as gimmicky to some, it is actually immersive and fun. GH Live serves as not only the campaign but the centerpiece of the games new perspective. It is all just wrapped up in a new and shiny package that is just as fun as it used to be.Īcross two modes, GH Live and GH TV, players can strum their hearts out through a track list that is more diverse and modern than ever. All the basics are still there though, like the whammy bar, single strums, and of course hammer-ons.

I have to assume that if the style was the same, I would have begun playing immediately on hard, but there is so much added value in having to relearn the scheme again when it feels so much more like the real deal. The live action trailer displayed a real life band with a whole new look to the highway. Guitar Hero Live’s announcement threw me for a loop, exciting and confusing me all at once.
